WHAT IS GENERATIVE
ART?
Is it reality or illusion of today's visionaries
obsessed by the omnipotence of informational technology?
Considering it as a new creative approach, it could
change the basic paradigm of human role as the only one
who has the abbility to create. Generative art is a
method to perform an artificial creative process. Somebody has to create the process and
somebody has to select generated results. But the
question is who is the author of generated work respecting a
simple rule that less the process is interactive, more
is generative?

GENERATIVE PROGRAM - HOW IT WORKS
To
understand how generative programs work, I developed
some demo versions applying different relations between
interactivity and generativity. You can try to run a
pure generative program CREATOR with no outside
influence, or semi generative program COLLAGE with some
degree of user interaction or absolutely non generative
program FREEHAND with 100% of user influence.
