Welcome to the
new
Golf Safari Africa
Web Site,
visitors, clients, friends new and old as you can see we have been
busy!!! We decided to offer a larger range of tours for 2007
incorporating more from South Africa than was previously available
without losing our passion of being able to give our clients the
experience of a golfing tour together with a true safari in Namibia
for those of you looking for more adventure.
A little information about Golf Safari Africa, Nigel is originally
from England, a Golf Professional with many years experience of
teaching and guiding Golf holidays, Nicola born in Namibia and well
travelled in Africa has a passionate knowledge of the continent
along with African Art and Culture and together for the last 3 years
have built Golf Safari Africa from the ground up with their 'hands
on' personal, friendly and relaxed style.
The high quality luxury new tours available along the fantastic Cape
to Knysna Garden Route have been extensively researched and "much
golf played", well somebody had to do it! we believe the tours to be
very exciting for golfers and also equally appealing to a non
golfing partner with plenty to do outside of golf. As always our
itineraries can be changed to include more activities, less golf,
more wine tasting etc, your wishes are as important to us as your
smile and we are very willing to design an individual tour to your
requirements.
We plan our itineraries with great care and attention to detail.
Each of our luxury tours include gourmet cuisine, fine South African
wines, the very best golf and on our Namibia options classic safari
into the "Real Wilderness'. All tours are personally "handled" and
guided by ourselves from the first contact to saying goodbye at the
airport, we wish to ensure you a trouble free journey full of
enjoyment and adventure with no worries of map reading, finding the
next hotel or petrol station, being late for your tee time, in fact
as stress free as possible, a true holiday!
Our Tours are small groups only to ensure our clients receive a
personal holiday to remember long after the last African Sunset. All
tours can be booked as a private group should you wish, minimum 4
people.
Accommodation ranges from Boutique Hotels and intimate Guest Houses
which offer something different, "colonial", "built from local
wood", sympathetic to guests and friendly, stunningly located lodges
and Bush Camps, to the renowned Fancourt Hotel and Country Club
Estate.
Fine dinning is inclusive from gourmet "In House" and local
restaurants offering area specialities, such as seafood, spicy Cape
Malay and mouth watering "game" steaks from Namibia.
"Paradise",
"World
Class",
"Championship
Design",
"Outstanding",
such are the descriptions of Golf in Africa along with a wonderful
climate, some of the best Course Designers have left their mark,
Nicklaus,
Player,
Matkovich,
Els and we sample many of these great Golf courses Fancourt, Simola,
Oubaai, Pezula, Arabella to name but a few as we travel the Garden
Route and in Namibia we have Rossmund one of only 5 full grass true
desert courses in the world.
Cape
Town,
(the Mother City) Table Mountain, secluded beach coves, Wine Farms,
Victoria and Albert Waterfront and so much more, we leave plenty of
time outside of Golf to experience and explore this vibrant African
City steeped in history, do a little shopping or take the cable ride
to the top of Table Mountain, maybe the ferry trip to Robben Island
where former President Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.
Stellenbosch,
the oldest wine route in Africa known as the "City of Oaks" for its
beautiful oak tree lined avenues, Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian
architecture make this the most scenic of places to visit, side walk
cafés, meet and eat pub / restaurants add to the relaxed atmosphere.
Garden
Route & Route 62,
an extraordinary beautiful stretch of countryside between Cape Town
and Port Elizabeth along the edge of the Indian Ocean with charming
towns and small sandy coves, on our journey to George we follow the
scenic route 62 with its rugged mountains and dramatic passes
overlooking fertile valleys, the 15 minute drive through Tradouws
Pass to enter the 62 is worth the drive alone.
Knysna,
lagoons, woodlands, waterfront, nature reserves, from total
relaxation to exciting adventures Knysna has it all and we plan our
itineraries to leave plenty of room for sampling the delights on
offer.
Namibia,
many superlatives are used to describe this incredible country and
few can do it justice. A glorious contrast of Canyons, Deserts,
Dunes, unending vistas and horizons that stretch as far as the eye
can see, we safari through Bushveld and visit the animal kingdom of
Etosha National Park along with much more all wrapped in a package
of never ending sunshine.
There are so many wonderful sights and memories awaiting you on our
journeys and to list them all would be impossible, we hope this
small insight will assist in your choice of tour route, please view
our itineraries for a more in depth description.
"Let us take
you on an unforgettable Journey"
We look forward to welcoming you to Africa,
Nigel and Nicola Betts.
