Payoneer and 2Checkout.com

The time is here! I know that you have all been waiting patiently, and now all of your questions can be answered. I think that you will find that using Payoneer is a lot easier than you thought it would be. Today is July 11th and Payoneer has been added as a payment method. As soon as payments have finished running, the wizard will be unlocked and you will be able to sign up with Payoneer.

All you have to do is go into the banking wizard. The first two pages will be the regular information that you are already familiar with, on the third page you will have the option to sign up with Payoneer. Once you have signed up with Payoneer, you will be redirected to the 2Checkout.com wizard where you will have to click on the button that says that you wish to be paid using the Payoneer card. You do not have to do this right away; you can continue being paid by a prior method until you have received your card. This card is available to all vendors worldwide!

This is a new and exciting option, and 2Checkout.com along with Payoneer are very happy to be able to offer this option to you.

Failure Trends in Disk Drives

Google has recently published a 5-year study on hard disk failure. The conclusions are interesting, as they do not correlate directly to what has been believed to be the primary factors in disk failure.

As quoted from the report, “One of our key findings has been the lack of a consistent pattern of higher failure rates for higher temperature drives or for those drives at higher utilization levels. Such correlations have been repeatedly highlighted by previous studies, but we are unable to confirm them by observing our population.”

Affiliate Signup Program Update

2Checkout has updated it’s Affiliate Signup Program

The 2Checkout Affiliate Signup Program is our way of rewarding suppliers with compensation for referring others to use our service. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Suppliers now earn $11.00 for each new supplier they refer.
  • Suppliers now have access to an affiliate reporting system which allows them to track their affiliate signup sales. This report can be found in the vendor reporting section of your 2CO Admin Area.
  • A column has been added to the payment section of your 2CO Admin Area (’Aff Comm’). This column details money paid to you by 2Checkout for affiliate signup sales.

If you already have a supplier account, using the affiliate signup program is as easy as adding one link to your website (replace ‘XXXXXX’ with your vendor account number):

https://www.2checkout.com/2co/signup?aff_id=XXXXXX

After the account is active for 60 days you will receive payment for referring a supplier to start selling with us.

This is just the start of our new affiliate program revamp. Please keep sharing your ideas and recommendations as we continue to add to and improve this program.

PCI Compliance

2CO meets PCI requirements so you don’t have to!

When considering the best way to sell your products over the internet, one of the most important aspects to look at is the security of customer data. Credit card companies require all merchants to follow extensive security guidelines, called the PCI DSS, which describe every aspect of how the customer’s information is handled. Meeting the requirements set forth in the PCI DSS can be an expensive and time consuming endeavor. 2Checkout takes on the responsibilities of PCI DSS compliance for our suppliers, saving you time and money.

2CO’s New Affiliate Program

2CO wants your help designing our new integrated affiliate program.

About a month ago, a 2CO community member started a thread in the forums asking if 2Checkout would consider an integrated affiliate network. It was good timing, because we are. We’re currently researching the possibilities and would love to get some feedback from our suppliers and the public at large.

This is currently a high priority for our developers, so now is a great time to take advantage of this opportunity. The more information you can provide, the better. We’d love to know exactly what you want from a 2CO affiliate program, so no detail is too small.

You can follow the affiliate program discussion in the forums or leave your suggestions as a comment to this post.

We look forward to hearing from you!
